Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: NPJ/Bagdogra to Gangtok | Welcome to Sikkim
- Transfer from NJP/Bagdogra to Gangtok and check in at your hotel.
- After resting and acclimatizing, set out for your evening stroll at MG Marg.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2: Silk Route Excursion: Changu Lake, Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass & Zuluk
- Located about 40 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet, Changu Lake is a stunning glacial lake nestled in the Himalayas. The lake is revered by locals and often changes color with the seasons, giving it a mystical feel. In spring, the area around the lake is dotted with colorful flowers like primulas and rhododendrons, while winter blankets the lake and surrounding mountains with snow, creating a breathtaking scene. The reflections of the snow-covered peaks in the still waters make it a sight to behold.
- Baba Mandir is a revered shrine dedicated to soldier Harbhajan Singh, who is said to have died in the area. The temple is located near Changu Lake and offers serene views of the surrounding mountains. It is a place of pilgrimage for many locals and tourists alike, steeped in legend and spirituality.
- Nathula Pass is an Indo-China border pass at an altitude of 14,140 feet. It was once a part of the ancient Silk Route and is now a strategic military point. The pass offers stunning views of the eastern Himalayas and is a popular tourist destination. Visitors can see the Indo-China border gates, army memorials, and war bunkers, making it a place of historical significance.
After exploring these historic destinations, carry on with your Silk-Route drive, stopping at scenic locations along the way, and reach Zuluk.

Day 3: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
- After your breakfast, set out for your Gangtok Local Sightseeing for the day to cover these popular spots:

Day 5: Pelling Sightseeing
